This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette was
chemically stripped.  All remaining
fillers and primers were sanded off
untl we were down to the bare
fiberglass panels.
As you can see, there were spots
where the fiberglass was cracked
or even broken off.  The factory
seams were all cracked.
Fiberglass was laid over all the
factory seams so they should
never crack out again.  Anywhere
else the fiberglass was broken,
was also repaired by laying new
fiberglass.
After all the fiberglass work was
done, a thin spread of filler was
applied to a lot of the car.  It was
then blocked out to remove any
flutters in the panels.

The car is gelcoated to hold down
any sanding scratches or pinholes
that might be left.
